Well it’s been a while but after spending the past couple weeks quoting John Landis’ classic Coming to America and watching a few recent horror movies by the director (including the Deer Woman from the Masters of Horrors series) I decided to do a little tribute. It’s been the first article I’ve done in a little bit but I have a new energy as far as the site’s concerned and hopefully I’ll get some things going up here. I’m going to look into getting some RSS Feeds and Digg features implemented as well for those who care.

In other news…pretty big news I think it looks as if there will be another Greg Root movie coming soon. I’m starting to develop some rough plans for it and filming should start this month hopefully. For those who saw and enjoyed the first one, it should be the same craziness and senselessness as the original, except with a sort of framework. I don’t want to give away too much but it’s something I’ve been thinking of doing for a few months now and I’m really excited about the idea. I’ll continue to update the progress on that but I have some people involved and some professional grade equipment to work with. I’m hoping it’s as great as it is in my mind. For those who haven’t seen the original video, it was a montage/documentary of one of the strangest people I’ve ever met that I put together about three years ago. It was made for me and my friends but because I spent so much time I went all out and pressed some copies and sold a shocking number to visitors to this site as well, even some overseas! Anyway, it’s sold out now but it’s up on YouTube in its entirety so check that out at www.gregroot.com.

This weekend I will be attending the Atlantic City Beer Festival. Apparently it’s all you can drink for a couple of hours with hundreds of samples to pick from. Hopefully I won’t make the mistake of gambling after this event. And hopefully I’ll survive. Needless to say there won’t be any updates this weekend but starting next week, I feel a new dedication coming back to this site. Hopefully it will inspire Mike to write an article instead of spending all his time buying vintage WWF memorabilia on eBay.

Recent and recently becoming typical AIM conversation with Mike:

As for me I’ve been blowing my money on T-shirts as well coming across an avenue to create some custom t-shirts. I’m seriously considering putting up a t-shirt shop on the web. We’ll see. Either way come back soon things will be moving again. Also I’ve been online a lot recently so send me an IM and inspire me with some good conversation.
